Evasi0n UnTethered Jailbreak 6.1 Utility, Updated to 1.2

For those of you who are already jailbroken on iOS 6.1 with evasi0n 1.0, there’s no need to re-jailbreak with the updated evasion tool. To apply the revisions, launch Cydia, wait for it to refresh and install the available updates.

Evasion 1.1 update to Jailbreak iOS 6.1
Like the previous version of the Evasi0n Untethered iOS 6.1 Jailbreak utility, the following devices are supported:
  • iPhone 5
  • iPhone 4S
  • iPhone 4
  • iPhone 3Gs
  • iPad 4
  • iPad Mini
  • iPad 3
  • iPad 2
  • iPod touch 5th generation
  • iPod touch 4th generation
  • Apple TV 2nd gen (unfortunately, the third generation Apple tv is excluded from evasi0n)
If you haven’t jailbroken your iOS device(s) by now, be sure to visit our complete and in-depth written tutorial for iOS 6 (6.0.1, 6.0.2 and 6.1).
The following is a list of official requirements for the evasi0n untethered jailbreak, as stated by the evad3rs
  • A USB cable to connect the device to the computer
  • 5 minutes of your time!
  • A computer, running Windows (XP minimum), Mac OS X (10.6 minimum) or Linux (x86 / x86_64)
  • An iPhone, iPad or iPod running iOS 6.0 through 6.1
Download Evasi0n 1.1 for Mac (OS X based) computers
Download Evasion 1.1 for Windows (XP, Vista, 7 and 8 are supported)
Download Evasi0n 1.1 for Linux machines

Note: You must also have the latest version of iTunes installed to successfully jailbreak your iOS device.
